Summary
Markus finally understood what the humans meant by ‘feeling at peace’ as he laid besides Connor.
If the serene look that covered his love’s immaculate features was anything to go by, Connor was feeling the same way as he did. Yeah, they had stresses and worries (mainly concerning the ongoing revolution and integration of androids amongst humans) but right now, in this moment, the world only consisted of the two of them and their immediate surroundings. Markus couldn’t wish for anything more.

Summary
Once he was all set up, Markus placed himself in front of the canvas and angled just right so that he could still see Connor from where he was standing. Connor hadn’t moved in the entire time that Markus had been walking around the room, the poor android was out cold. If Markus had to guess, he probably hadn’t been getting enough rest lately.
Markus began with a sketch, drawing the loose outline of Connor’s position stretching across the canvas, the drape of his arms, and the arch of his chest as he contorted awkwardly on a couch that was too small for him. He drew the shape of the fabric draping over his legs and how it hung from the couch he lay on.

Summary
The RK800 line was, at its core, a predator, a threat. Despite the complexity of its social understanding and communication skills, they were never the primary focus. So, if the need would ever arrive, all code used to expand an RK800’s social abilities were easily removable. Post-revolution, Connor did nothing to change that fact, it was just how he had been built.
Though, when the chip that allows him to filter his thoughts into spoken and unspoken is knocked loose, he wishes he had just covered the panel with anything, tape even.
