Was he going to have to explain rape scenes to an alien?
“Grace not need to apologize.”
How was he supposed to make Rocky understand that some people include them in media for no reason?
“I, um. Didn’t know that was going to be in there.”
“Rocky know. Apologies, Rocky should have paused sooner. Thought Grace would, but Grace could not. Grace Rocky do not have to finish watching.”
Oh, thank goodness. Grace didn’t have to explain this one. Of course Rocky gets it. Rocky was kinder and more gently curious about such complexities than anyone Grace had ever met.
He was especially full of care when he observed Grace’s personal quirks. Quirks. Could this be called that? Being forced out of his own mind because of a scene in a movie?
It wasn’t because of a scene in a movie, though. He knew that. Rocky knew that too.
