Summary
That Steve still loved him wasn't really a surprise. Love was rarely rational and had little to do with reality. Steve could love him for the man he used to be back when they were kids or because he was trying to atone himself (even though he didn't need to) for the past or because of guilt or any number of reasons. But trust was another matter.
Or: During a routine mission in Berlin, Steve and Bucky deal with a memory from Bucky's past as The Winter Soldier.

In that moment, Scott wants nothing more than to wipe that look off of his face—to make Stiles feel so overwhelmed with pleasure that he forgets everything else but Scott’s name and the way he’s making him feel.

“Come on, dude,” Stiles tells him, planting his hands on the back of the couch and vaulting over it into the hallway of the apartment they’re currently trying to move into. It’s their first apartment together, some shitty little thing Stiles found on Craigslist and sent to Scott in a frantic email. It took Scott less than a second to realize he’d follow Stiles anywhere, and then all of a sudden: a month later they were roping Isaac and Erica and Boyd into helping them move hand-me-down furniture across town, and now here they are, trying to figure out what to do with this disgusting couch that neither of them really wants, anyway.

Summary
Scott and Allison get it. They get the feeling in his heart, how the sky is tinged grey and he always feels tired. No rest for the wicked, or the reconstituted, apparently.
No one feels like smiling -- not like they were doing much of it anyway, with the murders and abductions and darachs and alpha packs. It’s hard to smile when you're constantly worried someone you love is going to get taken, eaten, bitten, killed. That you're going to find them bloody and broken and dead, and you couldn't do anything to stop it.
It isn’t really darkness. No, it’s a constant buzzing. He can tune it out easily enough when there were things to distract him, but nights are hard. Stiles has never been good at leaving scabs unpicked, and this would never heal quite right.

Niall's stopped at a crosswalk, waiting for the light to change when suddenly the rain stops. He looks up to see a blue umbrella over his head, a tall boy standing next to him holding the handle, close enough to be covered as well. Frowning in confusion, Niall glances to the left, where he's met with a wide pair of green eyes and a crooked smile framed by dimples.
"Looked like you could use an umbrella," the boy smirks.
"Uh, yeah, I guess I do," Niall replies. The boy chuckles lightly and Niall can feel himself warming up a bit.
