“Yet, here I am, Riki,” Jungwon retorts, lifting his arm, and frowns when he realizes that the shadows around have circled them. “You can’t let your emotions get the best of you.”
“What do you know about my emotions?” Riki tilts his head, still too close for Jungwon’s comfort.
In the midst of the world’s balance coming apart, Riki and Jungwon seem to have bigger problems. The way Jungwon takes two steps back whenever Riki takes one forward, for example.

Jungwon shook his head hard, cheeks burning even though he was alone behind the counter. Pathetic. He was being so pathetic. The clock on the wall blinked 1:58 a.m. Two more minutes. Two more minutes of hell and it would get better, it always got better when he was there.
