Will shifts in his sleep, and Mike winces, looking down at his boyfriend. Will turns his head to look at Mike and— oh. He looks so cute right now, with his messy light brown hair and sleepy eyes.
“You finally up?” Mike says in a teasing voice, trying to lighten the mood. The truth is, he’s just as worried for Will as the others, if not more.
“Barely,” Will mutters, resting his head on Mike’s chest again. Mike’s stomach does that little flutter it always does when he’s this close to Will.

Summary
They both slowly walk to the door, making sure their steps make as little noise as possible, with Mike always staying behind Will. Once they reach the door, Will slowly opens it with the head of his gun. The door creaks, making noise. Will and Mike flinch but don’t stop walking.
They step out of the house but leave the door ajar, just in case they need to make a quick escape. Their eyes scan the surroundings, taking in every shadow, every flicker of movement. There’s no sign of any dangerous creature.
Mike and Will both sigh in relief. “Okay... I think there aren’t any creatures out here,” Will says. “Let’s go inside, Mike.” He turns back toward the door, ready to return to the relative safety of the house.
A lot of things happen at once.
OR:
Mike and Will get stuck together in the Upside Down without knowing what to do. (You know, the usual).

Summary
"What did you want to talk about?” Will asks innocently.
Mike closes the door for privacy and walks up to the wall where the painting is hanging. He can’t even look at it right now. “I wanted to talk about this,” he says to Will while pointing at the painting.
Will’s face suddenly changes; he knows what Mike is talking about, and that only makes Mike angrier.
Will’s mind is searching for any excuse that Mike could believe, but none make more sense than the truth.

2 times Will and Mike fight + one time they actually talk things out.

In the three years since Will Byers went missing, the town of Hawkins has been under constant threat of the creatures from the Upside Down. But now, eight months after Vecna has ruptured a giant rift through the town of Hawkins, that threat is about to reemerge. Unaware of Vecna's true plans and trapped under a military quarantine, our heroes will not only be forced to face the greatest evil from the Upside Down, but also overcome impossible odds, in order to save the world, and each other, one last time.
Written in a SCREENPLAY format, this fic operates as a diverging conclusion for the final season of Stranger Things.

After being on the road together for a month with no real destination or end in sight, Ryan and Naim are almost out of cash. They find themselves in another small town, buying a week stay in a run-down motel. Naim is stuck in his own head, but at least Ryan's stuck there too.
