“Oh, what’s up, Spidey? Chasing criminals?” Barty muses around the rim of his coffee cup. Like most mornings, he forgoes breakfast entirely, solely relying on stale coffee and Regulus’ half-eaten leftovers for sustenance. James is half-tempted to arrange a collective mourning gathering for his digestive system.
“Yeah, only the criminally hot,” James confirms, eyes ever so glued on Regulus. Naturally, the flirting falls flat between them and is instead crushed by the hardened heel of Regulus’ unimpressed gaze. Next to him, Barty promptly chokes on his drink.
