University AU where Francesca is supposed to be in a perfectly loving relationship with her boyfriend, John, with a sensible future of marriage and children on the horizon, right up until John's cousin, Michaela Stirling, returns from a sabbatical abroad and Francesca finds herself, suddenly, hopelessly curious about another woman in ways that are utterly nonsensical.
Now Francesca finds herself unable to stay away and trying very hard not to think about why telling Michaela she and John are dating feels like it would ruin everything. Surely keeping that little detail about her relationship status cannot be seen as lying if Michaela never asked. Right?

And something had most definitely gone terribly wrong, Elphaba thinks, as the red fog clears up—revealing a young man with blonde curls, dark eyes, and those deep dimples.
"I feel funny, Elphie," a deeper, eerily familiar, voice shakily says, "Am I flying? Why are you shorter?"
Elphaba swallows, "Galinda..." she trails off, agitation in her tone.

Maybe Galinda was right.
Maybe she Elphaba wasn't as powerful as she thought she was.
(A transformation spell goes wrong, and Galinda is turned into an insufferably sassy, hot, and, of course—blonde man. Or, the magical genderswap!Galinda fic that absolutely no soul asked for.)
