Summary
Jaskier has been in hiding for a good part of a quarter-century. Inspiration running thin, and Sandpiping taking up most of his energy, he meets up with an old associate who's offering him a job. Now he'll need to make up with his chaos if he wants to unearth both Dijkstra and his associate's true motivations. He surely does not count on Yennefer stumbling into his mess though. Oh well, once in Oxenfurt... You know how the saying goes.
Or: Jaskier has done some pretty nasty stuff in the past as a mage and that past might end up being more a blessing than a curse. But only time will show.

Summary
As war shadows the Continent, Jaskier finds himself entangled in forces far older and darker than his songs ever warned him about. Strange tremors of magic, buried histories, and relentless hunters converge on the Hansa, pulling him into a mystery he never asked to inherit.
With Geralt, Yennefer, and Ciri at his side, Jaskier must navigate rising chaos, shifting loyalties, and whispers of a prophecy that seems—uncomfortably—to point toward him.
A tale of found family, hidden power, and a song that may yet change the fate of the world.

Summary
Zuzana was a hedge witch. Zuzana was a collector of folktales and songs. Zuzana was able to heal and curse, mixing Aretuza’s teachings with what she had learned during her travels. Zuzana’s name and purpose were forgotten long ago, her deeds and sins washed away by time, only some of the oldest mages remembering she ever existed.
Then Nilfgaard decided to ignore its borders and the black army engulfed the continent, sending the wheels of fate spinning faster than before. A sorceress, a bard, and a child soon find themselves in the company of the witch. She will now have to contact an old friend, inform him of his brand new grandchild, and hope, that the old wolf still thinks of her fondly. After all, she promised to help the child find the father fates saddled her with.

I mostly use the books' plot for reference, but it is an AU, and I am intentionally not following the original. This is the most plot-based work I have ever tried to post here, and I hope I will be able to emulate the mix of book atmosphere with the soothing vibes of found family fanfiction.Bookmarked by whenitgrowsbright
