“Shouto?”
He stirs at the unmistakable voice calling his name. Is Izuku really home already? That would mean it’s already well after 10:00 pm, and that he’s been asleep for the past hour. For a second, he wonders if he’s just hearing things because he feels no less exhausted than when he first laid down, but then he feels the cushion underneath him sink and a hand tangle itself into his hair. He opens his eyes to see a blurry green blob.

Shouto is absolutely exhausted after coming home from a mission that doesn't quite go as planned. Izuku and Katsuki may have to step in before he crashes completely.
(AKA Shouto gets pampered like his life depends it, and he totally deserves it.)

Summary
All Hero sees is a blur. His senses are taking a while to come to him, but the first thing he notices is that he feels oddly light. He has no idea where he is, but it’s the perfect ambient temperature. He thinks there’s a person in front of him—a girl, by the register of her voice. What did she say?
“Hero, sweetie?” Sweetie? Is his mom in front of him? But the voice doesn’t quite match, and this girl’s hair is too dark anyway. It’s nearly the same color as Sunny’s, but much longer. Actually, it reminds him of—
Oh.
“Mari..?”

At the end of a several-months long battle with cancer, Hero awakes as a spirit and reunites with the girl he thought he’d never see again. Before he can properly catch up with her though, he needs to check on the family he’s left behind, especially his brother.
He knew Kel would be upset, but he didn’t expect him to be doing this badly.

Shouto comes home after a long patrol shift, ready to eat dinner and spend a relaxing evening with his boyfriends. But when he recalls a strange quirk and stranger villain he helped capture, he has some disturbing revelations about his past that send him reeling.
(Shouto has a flashback/panic attack after recalling an incident he responded to on his patrol that day. Lots of comfort from his concerned boyfriends ensue.)
