“I understand, but isn’t it counterproductive? You did come into the games to save people. Why are you letting people die now?”
Gi-hun paused, his jaw setting as he registered Young-il’s words. Involuntarily, Gi-hun stared him down, like he’d been trying to intimidate him. “We simply can’t have everything, Young-il-ssi. Don’t you know this by now?”
“Do you think not everyone is worth saving, then?”

“The meaning is what you give.”
Transported back to those dreams. Armand watching. Always watching. As much as he refused to admit it, Daniel found himself back in those moments. Wanting. Always wanting. That alien feeling of his cock filling between his legs, pushing against the rough denim.
Though something kept Daniel back. Not caving just then. It felt like cheating himself. Daniel had lived a less than perfect life, though not superstitious enough to believe Parkinson’s was a punishment for such, but self deprecating enough to feel undeserving. And was that fair? To have something he had wanted so hopelessly only hours ago?
And above all it was Armand. Alluring Armand, with a morbid fascination and inhuman morality. That within itself was wrong. Daniel had known it in principle and he knew it in action.
