Summary
The ceiling of the Ark exploded.
"What are you doing?" Jetfire cried, bodily forcing Starscream around with a forcefulness and urgency he had never once had to use, especially not on him, as fragments of ceiling rained down around them.
The glare Starscream pins on him, the way the protoform of his faceplate pulls away from bared, gritting, denta, makes the energon in Jetfire's lines run cold. He doesn't recognize this mech.
"Let go of me, traitor," Starscream spits out, trying to pull away from Jetfire, who doesn't relent, instead wrapping his arms around tighter. He pins Starscream's arms to his chassis. "Let go!"
This isn't the mech he had once given his spark too.

"Yeah," Garcia smirked. "It's a date." Then she walked away, leaving Trinity standing there staring after her.

LOVE the exploration of Cybertron’s slip into authoritarianism post the fall of the Primes and Sentinel’s takeover, as well as the way cogless bots are introduced and justified. A lot of questions I had about how Sentinel was effectively able to takeover and manipulate the entire population are addressed and explored in such an interesting and entertaining manner (as well as the main storyline of Skyfire’s carriage which!!!!). Insanely good fic, insanely good political thriller.
