Kiyoomi and Atsumu aren’t dating, but Atsumu thinks they are.

“Hey, so what’re we doin’ on Friday?” Atsumu asks. He tucks his head over Kiyoomi’s shoulder and watches him pour hot water over the coffee grounds.
“Friday?” Kiyoomi says, looking halfway over his shoulder and nearly bumping noses with him. “I don’t know what you mean.”
“Friday? The 23rd? Our anniversary, dumbass,” Atsumu says. He pulls away and goes to grab mugs for their coffee when Kiyoomi pours out the last of the hot water. When he turns back, he raises his brows at Kiyoomi’s blank expression.

Summary
“…You still want me to fight for you?” Kiyoomi’s voice comes out hesitant.
Atsumu tilts his head, confused. “Course I do, why wouldn’t I?”
Kiyoomi huffs, burying one cheek against Atsumu’s striped scales. “Because I lost to that other guy today. He was more powerful than I expected,” he mutters, dejected. “He can provide for you, keep you safe, and give you strong heirs. Why would you still want me?”
“…Because yer hot?” Atsumu can’t help but say.
It's mating season again and Atsumu is reluctant to attend, right up until he sees a gorgeous Alpha named Kiyoomi and falls in love with him instantly.

He almost drops the onigiri when Atsumu blurts out, “Yer really pretty, y’know that?” Then he seems to realize what he just said and he starts panicking. “No, wait, I don’t mean it like that! Not that I’m sayin’ that yer not pretty, but I mean, fer a guy, yer kinda beautiful an’ like, I bet ya’ve got people swoonin’ over ya left ‘nd right, y’know? I think yer pretty too, but like, objectively! N-not because I like ya or anythin’!” Kiyoomi just stares as Atsumu buries his face into his hands with a groan, something like “fuckin’ end me” coming out right at the end.

Summary
Atsumu’s body runs cold - not from the February chill, but from the sheer terror that grips his heart. For a second he struggles to speak, to move, do anything.
Then he regains control of his body and stumbles back until he hits a tree.
“What the fuck?” He gasps, eyes wide as he stares at the massive fucking knife in Endo’s hands. That’s not even a regular size - that’s what a fucking butcher uses.
Atsumu knows it's going to be a shitty day. Has known since he woke up with his brain jackhammering in his skull. What he isn't expecting, however, is to meet a classmate who hates his guts in the middle of a forest and struggle to survive in a race for his own life.

The cake, shaped like half a volleyball, was badly decorated with blue and yellow icing in the way only overly-enthusiastic twelve-year-olds could, but it was delicious. In the picture, he and Osamu have an arm around each other’s shoulders, Atsumu smiling broadly at the camera, Osamu already distracted by the cake in front of him.“Let’s do it again.”
“What?”
Atsumu waves the phone at him. “Bake a volleyball cake. For our birthday.”
