“How can you burn yourself if you’re already on fire?” Jaheira wonders.
“It’s not that,” Karlach grimaces. “I can touch myself, physically, I just can’t ever manage to finish because the bloody tadpole has a fucking mind of its own. Maybe fantasizing about ceremorphosis works for some people, but it’s a real mood killer for me.”
“Now that, I think I can help with.” Jaheira smiles wickedly. Karlach takes a step away so she doesn’t inadvertently light Jaheira’s hair on fire. “Come with me.” "

"Don't worry about me," Kitty shakes her head. She's never looked more like a bloody martyr. "I can grab the bus."
"I can drive you," Yvonne offers.
Holly's already gone, so it's just Nisha, Kam, and Beth who stare in wonder, while Kitty smirks.
"Just so you can kill me in middle of nowhere? I don't think so, pal, you may be athletic but I'm scrappy."
"Shut up," Yvonne rolls her eyes. "If I killed everyone I disliked I'd be giving Jack the Ripper a run for his money."
