    Eijirou looked kind of beautiful like this, with his hair down and his face illuminated by the soft glow of the TV. It wasn’t weird to think his best friend was pretty, everyone who had ever laid eyes on Eijirou could agree that he was a good-looking guy. He was attractive, from his gorgeous looks to his heroic attitude. It was just facts. Katsuki should probably stop staring at him and actually watch the movie.

    His mouth thins mulishly, the way it had when she said it the first time a week ago. He'd had his excuses: too much to do, kids always getting into trouble, increased criminal activity with their number one hero retired. Eventually, though, he'd caved and asked her for help.

    Still:

    "And I told you," Aizawa counters, "you can just put me to sleep and be done."

    "You know that'll just be a temporary fix," Nemuri says. "You need to relax. It's either this, or you pick up a jogging habit." She smiles. "And you hate jogging."

    The gift was something his family had been passing down for generations: a beautiful sword made of the most durable metal, tempered with dragon breath so that it’d be indestructible. It had intricate swirling designs both on the hilt and the blade, and if you looked closely, you could make out the delicate drawing of a dragon and a human soaring through the sky.

    It was the depiction of a centuries-old prophecy, and it had finally come true.
