Bruce was already having a bad day.
Scratch that - Bruce was having a bad month.
First, a time-traveling mission with the Justice League had totally kicked the team’s asses. They’d managed to win the battle, but not without quite a few losses along the way- including a snapped and shattered spine for Bruce, courtesy of Bane. Luckily, J’onn Jones had managed to catch Chronos, aka David Clinton, and reverse all the damage that had been done, but that didn’t mean Bruce couldn’t remember the pain and fear that came with having his body snapped in half. Let’s just say that left him with a few more mental scars.
