Stray jumped from the building and landed in a roll the way Catwoman had taught him before bounding back up to his feet and running. He heard Robin cursing behind him and let out a laugh, loud on purpose.
“Give it back, Stray!” Robin shouted as he chased Stray over the rooftops.
“Finder’s keepers!” Stray called over his shoulder, still laughing.
“Pickpocketing is not finder’s keepers!” Robin argued.
Stray jumped up on top of an AC unit and twisted to face Robin, holding his hands up. Robin stopped unexpectedly, his balance teetering for a second before he looked up at Stray, scowling. Stray raised his prize, something he’d nicked from Robin’s pocket without really looking at it first. He’d just taken it to annoy the other boy, wanting his attention more than anything.
