Summary
Ilya doesn’t even try to stop the litany of Russian swears from spilling out. He also doesn’t stop himself from cursing Marly’s whole family line, and then verbalizing some of his more homicidal thoughts about Scott Hunter and the kitchen sink. He lets his Russian ranting die out and takes a few deep breaths.
Everyone has quieted to look at him.
“Feel better?” Marly asks.
Maybe Ilya could drown Marly in the sink along with Hunter. Maybe he could kill everyone in the suite before Shane wakes up. He’d have to kill the butler guy, too…and the front of house staff…and the wedding chapel staff…and then convince Shane to run away with him to somewhere that would neither extradite to the US nor prosecute them for being gay. Messy. Too messy.
OR
Ilya wakes up with a wedding ring and a WHOLE LOT of questions...but at least Marly and Scott fucking Hunter are having a good time. This is Ilya's worst nightmare which, as it turns out, features a night of blackout drinking, misguided but supportive friends, and some VERY stupid decisions.

Was Rozanov mining for chirping material? What the fuck? “I, no I took like…a writing seminar. And um, a civics course. Plus, like, math.”
Rozanov blinked at him, again. “Math.”
“Yeah, math.”
“Oh. So you are a mathematician? You study calculus? Linear algebra? Discrete mathematics?”
What in the fuck is discrete mathematics? “I dunno, no. It was like, y equals mxb squared, or whatever. You know, algebra.”
“Algebra.” Rozanov’s eyebrows shot up his face. “Like for a child? American university gives you primary school lessons?”

Summary
A mostly crackfic series that asks, what if Shane and Ilya were slightly out of character? Shane is bitchier, Ilya is manic and philosophical, Cliff Marleau and the Boston boys take turns babysitting their crashing-out captain, and Shane finally gets recognized as the pretty, funny, sassy player he is.
Nothing is too serious about this, it's a mix of show and book canon, and a healthy dose of fanon (himbo king Cliff). Ilya is allowed to catch feelings early, as a treat and Shane is allowed to let his inner mean girl out.
Please enjoy these silly boys and their silly relationships! Four works so far with more to come! How much more? I don't know! They keep doing silly things and my brain keeps writing it down.

This is boring.
The thought floated across Shane’s brain like one of those banners tied to the tail of a plane. Or maybe like a screensaver on a nineties computer, one that would have been in a separate room from the rest of the house.
Or maybe he was just coming up with different descriptors for it to distract from how boring it was.
The whole thing would be mildly more interesting if Shane were at all interested in cars or how they worked. But he wasn’t, no matter how much his husband tried to convince him to be, so a luxury car auction was not exactly his idea of fun on the first vacation they had had together in two years.
Or, Shane attends at a high-end car auction, and sits next to the most handsome man he’s ever seen.
