As the Lizardmen wage war against the daemonic hordes of the Great Catastrophe, their creators bestow upon them a new boon, or rather, several boons, to prepare them for the greater struggle that awaits beyond the war itself: the slow decline of their kind and the relentless encroachment of the corruètible younger races.
The Dark Elves, the Beastmen, the Ratmen, and all the other races that interfere with the Plan, or refuse their place within it, will learn that there is no alternative but to serve the Old Ones, whether they desire it or not. -

King Robert I Baratheon had a mountain of regrets in his final moments. It took dying to lift the veil from his eyes so he could really see what he had become. He did not know what to expect of the afterlife, but he most certainly did not think he would be charged by the gods, old and new, to go back and fix the mess he had created and to prepare the coming darkness.

Luminara Unduli and Anakin Skywalker find themselves in a hopeless situation, having lost their two Padawans: Barriss to the dark side and Ahsoka, who has turned her back on the Order.
