Okkotsu swallowed, and Yuuji couldn't help but watch the movement of his throat, nearly missing the next words out of his mouth.
"Would you allow me to be your partner?"
Yuuji blinked. "My… Partner?"
Okkotsu nodded, his gaze firm. "For your heat."
Or: When Sukuna's interference nullifies Yuuji's suppressants, he's left vulnerable to the heats he's been avoiding for so long.
He would have had to weather the storm alone, if not for fellow omega Okkotsu Yuuta.

Summary
Across the room, on the stage, Sukuna’s stopped coiling the cable in his hands, his eyes on the trio. Kenjaku, his bassist, sees his gaze and walks up to him.
“Something caught your attention?”
There’s a lazy smile on his face and Sukuna just grunts before shoving the incomplete loop into Kenjaku’s chest and hopping off the raised platform, boots heavy against the grimy tiles as he makes his way over.
Nobara is the first to notice, her eyes going wide and mouth open in shock. Megumi turns his head to see what she’s staring at and he goes similarly quiet. Yuuji looks between his friends in confusion before turning around, now face to face with Sukuna.
Or more like face to chest. He’s even bigger up close.
Sukuna is looking straight at Yuuji, a slight smirk on his face.
“You a fan?”

“Do you ever think we should just… run away? Go far from this place, this cursed family, and just be?”
Sukuna’s grip on him tightens, without a response for a few minutes, before he sighs. He bows his head forward, resting on Yuuji’s shoulder and pulling them even closer, if that was possible.
“All the time. But they wouldn’t let me go that easily and… I can’t live without you.”
His voice is soft, a bit shaky. Nevertheless, when he raises his head again, cerulean meeting gold, his gaze is full of conviction and determination. Maybe it would be more accurate to say possessiveness, really.
“I can’t live without you. Even if only you leaving made your life better, I would keep you chained by my side. We were born together, we have to live and die together too.”
Yuuji’s breath catches, unable to look away. In the light of the dying sun, the powdery blue gives way to a deep, swirling mass of dark churning waters, the frigidness of it making Yuuji shiver.
Without a word, Yuuji tilts his head just enough to gently kiss the side of Sukuna's mouth, more a brushing of lips.

Summary
Those same red eyes are glowing right at him.
When he shifts, he winces, blood still seeping from his shoulder.
He has no time to dwell on that though. He chirps hesitantly, hoping to get a positive response. All he hears is a dark chuckle, the thing from earlier swimming forward lazily until they’re face to face.
It doesn’t take a genius to understand that what he’s looking at is a siren. He sucks in a terrified breath, voice shaky. No wonder he felt so lethargic earlier after hearing him speak.
“I thought the sirens were all dead?”
The ocean’s, believed extinct, most natural and dangerous predator. They’re large, ravenous, and insanely strong. Worse still was their voice, able to evoke whatever emotion they wanted their prey to feel.
Their penchant for violence made them a feared subject in any age except this one, where they shouldn’t even exist. Clearly, the entire ocean was wrong.
“Not dead, just hidden. There’s still a few of us floating around… What’s a pretty thing like you doing in my territory?”
Or which, Yuuji gets lost then claimed as a result

Summary
Shouko finds Itadori in the morgue, curled around the corpse.
He has a habit of sleeping with his back to the door—no, with his body between the door and the corpse.
Itadori is still smaller than the corpse. It hasn’t diminished any in death. He’s curled around it like he can tuck it into the space between his ribs.
The very first night, she found him with his head on the corpse’s chest, his fingers interlaced with limp ones. His eyes were open, his skin pallid—not much better than the dead flesh under him.
It’s better now. He looks quite alive; his slumbering body looks like a shield.
Too late, murmurs a voice in her head, more exhausted than bitter. She can’t blame the boy for trying. God knows he would have tried in more drastic ways if he’d been allowed to. She saw his face, there at the end.
“Itadori,” she calls quietly.
Satoru refuses to rot; Yuuji refuses to let go.
