“Chat!” Lila blurted, sounding nervous. “Hey, why are you here, love?” Chat scrunched up his nose and looked her skeptically up and down, leaning against the wall.
“I’m doing what I want, Lila,” he dragged, examining his claws. “Y’know, you can’t call someone your boyfriend when they don’t even know about it.” She was picking her nails now, her eyes darting around the room.
“What makes you think I was even saying something like that?” she spat, her face paling rather quickly.
“What can I say, I‘ve got some pretty neat ears,” he remarked, winking at Marinette. Her and Chat had become significantly closer since he would visit her balcony more often. He was definitely a character. “Besides, I love someone else.”
