Summary
After the fallout of a disastrous attempt to free their love from the shackles of the monarchy and dueling expectations, Andrealphus and Vassago find themselves on opposing sides of a different kind of war-a cold war. A war waged not with magic and hands but hearts and minds, and the thorny question of how one can be redeemed after fucking up fatally. Thankfully Vassago has a lot of patience, and a lot of friends to try and sort it out.
And Andrealphus has-uh-Stella. I'm sure everything will be fine!

Summary
After the events of break me like a promise, Andras has been exiled with Purson on Earth. Purson is trying to make the best of their new life/situation (and avoid his own wounds) while trying to help Andras outgrow his painful past. Andras is just trying his best to not do anything but exist. Joined by a cast of characters in a small town in Vermont, these royal dads are going to figure this shit out one way or another. (And yes, there will be a lot of sex, drugs, and angst along the way).
---
“What do you mean by ‘you never thought you’d live long to see this?’ ” Andras’ brain had finally caught up with the offhanded quip, and now he was intrigued.
He had his schemes, certainly, but Purson couldn’t possibly think he ever intended to kill the King? For one, it would have been pointless, making him a target for the likes of Paimon and Asmodeus, not to mention Lucifer. Though after he had shed the blood of one of Purson’s fellow kings, perhaps it wasn’t entirely unreasonable.
Purson inhaled a hiss at his words, then turned his head away. “I’m gonna need more than just a smoke to tell that story.”

Summary
“If this was a fairy tale, it would have started with once upon a stupid idea.
Andrealphus knew that the kings of the deep hated the demons above the water’s surface; yet the merciless darkness of the oceans left him restless and bored. That was what brought him here, to the peninsula of craggy rock and sand-wasted land that lay in the shadow of the great castle of earth and sky.
It was forbidden to be here—but he wasn’t really one for rules, unless those rules allowed for getting one over on his boorish brother-in-law. Sadly, there was no such enjoyment to be found in the depths today, so he had returned to where he always did when he was bored—the lands above.
Andrealphus’ most recent stint of travel to the surface had been particularly enticing. He had swam up to the same spot every day for a week now, perched on a rock a distance from the shore. Every time, he saw the same demon bird with a guitar sitting astride a rough-hewn throne, kicking his legs off the side of the rocks. The stranger would strum the strings of his instrument and bellow out a soft melody until his voice gave way to salty air and his words faded into quiet sobs.

Summary
Someone said possessive Vassago and my brain malfunctioned.
---
“Aw, babe, don't be like that! As soon as the Chaz—”
“Ughhh, please stop referring to yourself like that!”
“—is back running and up, we can take care of you! I’m always here for seconds.” Chaz waggled his eyebrows, giving him a goofy, smarmy smile.
Andrealphus drummed his talons along his soaked naked thighs, the silken sheets pressed to his ass and the downy comforter blanketing his stomach.
He was comfortable in every sense, but he wanted to be uncomfortable.
Stuffed and screaming, that was the whole fucking point of this after his fit of rage when he wailed and stormed off from Vassago telling him literally anyone could fuck him as good as he did.
And, well, perhaps that wasn't true after all. Andrealphus was on the third strike of trying to find a lover as patient and persistent at taking him apart and putting him back together, and it hadn’t gone well for him.
But perhaps this night could still be salvaged with some clever maneuvering…

Summary
It's been over six months since the judgement came down, and came down swiftly. Andrealphus' former comrades in arms find no place for him in this new world as he bounces from 'friend' to 'friend' until the mercy runs out, and he's on the street scraping by to find food and shelter. There is someone he could beg for help, but he will never bring himself low enough to ask for it.
And then, a savior offering food and shelter appears-a face from the past, the assassin that he had once worked with to bring down Stolas. He still speaks in riddles about settling scores, but surely not him. He has been humbled and humiliated already, so there's nothing else that could break him. Is there?

Summary
"Alright, fuckers," Blitzø announced, holding up the journal. "We read it, and me and Millie got something to say."
"We think," Millie began, shooting Blitzø a quick look, "that you two should fuck. If you want to."
The silence was so palpable that Stolas could have choked on it. He looked between Millie and Blitzø's grinning faces, then to Moxxie, whose expression thankfully mirrored Stolas' own surprise.
Moxxie blinked. "Excuse me?"

Summary
“No, I don’t think I will. But you are welcome to join me here, it is quite comfortable.”
The soft laugh from Vassago, paired with the look of complete shock on Andrealphus’s face, went to Stolas’s head like a wine. God, he had waited years for a moment like this. Being able to put Andrealphus in his place without any fear of retaliation from Stella when he got home. Andrealphus was smart, of course, but Stolas had long been able to see all of the chinks in his armour and had just been unable to do anything about it. But here he was now, with nothing left to lose, and he could stab this arrogant man right where he was softest.
“Nothing to say for once? That is quite unlike you, Andrealphus.”

Now all he needs is a rake dastardly enough to sell the act. A series of unlikely coincidences following a failed robbery attempt drops just such a man in Stolas’s lap, but how will this plan work when Stolas finds himself inextricably drawn to the man he’s hired to save his daughter from an unhappy marriage?

Summary
You've seen it. A fic formatted like a classified document. A chapter that looks like a real social media feed. An interactive game, somehow, inside an AO3 work. You clicked the kudos button. You thought: how.
This is the tutorial that answers that.
A beginner-friendly guide to HTML and CSS on AO3 — no prior coding experience required. By the end of this series, you'll know enough to write formatted fics, build your own workskins, style your entire AO3 interface, and maybe make something that makes other people stop and think how.
