"Oh my God." Akira broke off Goro's rambling with a startling and beautiful revelation, almost jumping out of his chair with starry eyes. "You're not suggesting we-"
"Wait-" Goro's pointer finger met Akira's lips, and a smirk widened with pride on his own. "-until I'm finished."
And in almost an instant, Akira shut up.
Together for a few months now, Goro and Akira decide to finally move in to their own home. But that decision actually takes a while for them to make, and instead, they spend their time fantasising and falling for each other all over again.

“Zip up, boys!” Prism exclaimed, nearly hysterical with it, and Robert sat there with a spinning head as the group devolved into yet another fit of laughter, this one even more undignified than the first.
Anxiety clawed at the walls of Robert’s throat. Discomfort bloomed in his stomach. This was… bad. Terrible, even. Had the jokes always been this direct? Did everyone but Robert already know about this?
Or, Robert learns that Waterboy has obvious favoritism towards him, and because he's so distracted by the concept, Robert doesn't even realize that he's being courted.

Summary
Joker has a habit of fixing his gloves. Just tugging, stretching at the fabric, playing with the cuffs. He doesn't crack his knuckles like Sakamoto does: he's worse, he pulls at his own fingers and stretches the joints until he hears a satisfying pop. He fidgets with his gloves when he's thinking. And Joker's always thinking about something or another. It's why Goro hated him the most out of these foolish Thieves: he's thoughtful, perfect, meticulous.
Goro's—fixated. Distracted. Attention captured as easily as a bird within a wolf's jaws. And Joker hasn't noticed yet, but he will soon if he can't fucking stop looking.
Joker's got Goro wrapped around his little finger. Literally.

His fingers trembled slightly as he read the title.

His wide eyes glisten under the streetlights—glossy like the twin buttons on a teddy bear’s face, glossy like the buttons on his crisp linen shirt, glossy like the metaphorical buttons that Akira aches to push. They stand still long enough for a car to rumble past, long enough for Akira’s pulse to skyrocket, for his palms to clam up with sweat that has nothing to do with the heat.
“If it’s only a matter of buttons,” Akechi whispers, “then I could say the same about you. Seduction is just... altering your behavior, tailoring it, putting on a show. Give me a week, Kurusu. I’ll make you the ‘desperate’ one.”
(Or: Goro and Akira make a bet.)

But he’s not, or at least he probably isn’t, because he can hear Morgana, and that means he knows this is probably a Metaverse thing, and why did Akira agree to this, this was so stupid, he is going to get arrested and then murdered and thrown in jail in probably not that order, and, oh.
There’s a hand in his hair.
(Kurusu is infuriating and beautiful and an exception to everything. Kurusu is standing in front of him with wide eyes and big feline ears, and Goro is coming to realize that he is a fucking sucker, and he should really leave, and he definitely won’t.)
