“Smoking again?” Sete asks, feeling like an idiot.
Watching Valentino light up his cigarette, chin tilted towards the sky and a placid look on his face, is like watching a long porn sequence shot by a particularly dedicated cameraman. The angle is just right, and the cutting light coming from inside the building highlights all of his features, making them sharper and more firm, just like they were all those years ago under the strobes and the lasers of Amnesia, a club in Ibiza where Valentino used to drag him almost every night.
