Emre's surprised to feel a hand slide down the length of his thigh. Gently hooking his hand under Emre's knee, Ramattra raises his leg.
"There's no ports on my legs," Emre gets out, blushing.
Ramattra looks for another moment, then hums. He rests the limb back on the cold ground gently. "You do not share that experience, but we are so much more alike than you may realize."

They’ve been traveling together for two years now, and Blurg has begun to find that home is not so much a place on a map but the warmth of Omeluum’s mental presence, excitedly welcoming him in to share a new theory or discovery or simply to say "hello, I see you, I’m glad you’re there".
Blurg and Omeluum have been getting closer, but things can't possibly go that smoothly. Getting their shit together hurts.
little getting together prequel to "your eyes will need some time to adjust"! You shouldn't need to have read that to enjoy this but if you have you will understand Why Omeluum Does What It Does a little bit better. (though Blurg doesn't find out for ten more years so clearly it's not necessary info)
