Ilya nods and lets his hand move through Shane’s hair. It is soft, and Shane leans into the touch, eyes closing briefly as if the contact alone is enough to ground him. The response is so natural that it gives Ilya pause.
“Tell me about your limits.” Ilya doubts he is going to be close to any limits tonight, as Shane looks like he already had a pretty rough night. But he still needs to ask, good hygiene.
A small smile appears on Shane’s face, he looks at Ilya deeply, eyes not wandering away as he speaks, “There are no limit, sir.” He looks at the disbelief appearing on Ilya’s face and offers, “I’m the house slave.”
Or, Ilya didn’t come for attachment, but Shane, bruised, obedient, and unraveling, becomes the one thing he can’t leave broken.

Shane sighed annoyedly and blew his whistle at him for what must have been the hundredth time that season. “Rozanov! No diving into the shallow end, or anywhere in the pool for that matter, as I have told you several times now!” Shane yelled after watching Rozanov emerge from the water.
Upon hearing his voice, Rozanov’s head snapped up to meet Shane’s gaze. Against his will, Shane’s breath caught after meeting his piercing blue eyes. He watched Rozanov’s eyes rake over his form, causing heat to rise to his face. Goddamnit, he needed to get a grip and focus if he wanted to properly chew out Rozanov for ignoring the rules.
Rozanov stuck out his tongue at him, “Hollander you are so boring. I am not going to break my neck and die. I am Russian, we have strong bones.”

Shane was an Alpha with no interest in Omegas of any gender. He didn't found them tempting like his friends, their sweet smell was just... sweet. So he refused invitations to parties, clubs and mixers that included him being with anyone, he hid his smell with patches to avoid offending people when they approached too.
Shane hid himself deep enough to go unnoticed and he was content with it until a pair of blue eyes landed on him, observing, tempting and wanting. He was so fucked.

Gareth Carson is an omega in hiding who is discovered by Kayden Davenport, an alpha, with the two unable to fight their connection. But why are they drawn to each other? And is Kayden only out for revenge?
To stay true to the characters, and the original story, this AU is intense and dark at times. Rina Kent’s characters defy societal norms and I’ve tried to stay true to their original characterisations where I can. To be fair, Gareth isn't very different as a bratty omega! If this is something people enjoy then I'll continue writing Gareth and Kayden as mates...and did someone say mpreg?
