Summary
"W-where am I?" she asks, more than half-afraid to hear the answer.
"Raccoon City Police Department," he says. "I'm Leon Kennedy."
Grace's mouth falls open. She stares. And stares, and keeps staring.
That's why he looked familiar. Because that's Leon's face, minus maybe thirty years. He looks like he's her age.
What the fuck?

Summary
“You sure you want to be out there?” The voice over the phone asked about the millionth time already. “Especially with the stage of your infection?”
“Don't be such a worrywart, Chris,” Claire replied to the phone, placing her helmet on her parked motorcycle. “I'll be fine.”
“I think I'm right to worry. You aren't just sick with a flu, you're infected, Claire,” Chris responded worriedly. “With the T-virus, I might add.”
“Chris, you and I both know that this stuff isn't going to get better if we sit on our butts and do nothing. Sherry and Leon are looking into it, and so should I.”

Summary
Leon Kennedy was no longer a private citizen, but government property. A tool, being sharpened and trained to undergo only the most dangerous and important missions.
The program would take years to mold him, and he had no way out but forward.
(OR: Leon has a rough transition into military training with Krauser. The training is hard enough, but he also has to deal with the stress of being blackmailed, let alone his crippling survivor's guilt. How long can he carry it all?)

Summary
Leon gets a migraine after many nights of sleeplessness. It's not easy, training under Krauser.
-~-
Consciousness comes back in a rush, a gasp escaping his lungs from the shock of icy water that splashes violently across his face. He flounders for a moment, spluttering on water before he can properly blink his eyes open. Krauser stands beside his bed, holding a rusty-looking bucket that drips water onto the hardwood floor, a rhythmic tapping sound. His face is a mask of displeasure.
"Get your ass out of bed, Rookie," he growls. "I don't care how many hours you like to sleep, training starts now. On the field in five."

Summary
Ashley grabbed his arms back as she steadied herself on her feet. “Thanks.”
“Anytime.”
Leon returned a very brief smile, before taking a step back to observe their surroundings. Ashley was letting go of his arms when she noticed rivers of red dripping down his water-resistant shirt. She slowly followed the trail up to what looked like a horrible gash wound on Leon’s shoulder. Her heart jolted in a panic, when did that happen?
