Summary
"Tim was an idiot.
He wasn’t a “boy genius” “boy detective” “a wiz kid” whatever the hell his older brothers– late brothers– had called him as they teased.
He hadn’t “inherited” Bruce’s mind like Jason and Dick had jested. Not like how Dick “inherited” his heart–the heart that he tore out of Bruce’s chest–, he didn’t “inherit” his strength like Jason–crunches and greedy slurps were all Tim could hear–and he was for sure not the “blood heir” —Damian drench in blood and gore, face blank–
Tim was a failure. "
TDLR: After failing to kill the Vampire King due to sentiments, Tim is captured and forced to watch his men be killed by the twisted version of his family. Soon it is his turn by the very man he failed to kill.

Summary
"Earth was slated for destruction and its people had no idea.
The alien soon to be known as Bruce, whose true name was both unpronounceable to any human tongue and slightly beyond their comprehension, was a researcher. His job was to visit planets that had been deemed nuisances and report back on the presence of sentient life. If there was none, the planet would be demolished.
Humanity was just barely missing the bar to be considered sentient by the galactic standards. This was ridiculous to Bruce because he had already learned several of their languages, learned their names for their people and their planet and their galaxy. He had traveled over the world where humans lived abundantly and seen their constructions and tools, their complex cultures and communities. All of this he had communicated to his superiors, suggesting that they loosen their rigid standards to make an obvious exception, humans weren’t even that short, and had been struck down."
Or Bruce is an unhappy researcher with a fondness for younglings. While reviewing the soon to be doomed Earth, he finds some street kids who he decides to rescue. From their perspective, this is an abduction. By an alien.

Summary
In a blink, Tim realizes he is in fact- not where he is supposed to be.
It could be the fact that he was previously in his bedroom and yet, is now in a warehouse. Assumably one on the east docks, he can tell by the smell. It could be the fact that he is wearing clothes that aren’t quite- but very close to -pooling around him like someone dressed him up in clothing meant for someone half a foot taller. Or that he shrunk.
Undoubtedly, however, the biggest clue was the man in front of him holding a gun pointed straight at him. A gun that doesn’t look all magical but definitely isn’t just technology, along with its wielder giving him the most shocked face he has ever seen.
Tim, who prides himself on being pretty fast on the uptake, absorbs all of this information in a few seconds and with all the sudden adrenaline within him decides to focus in on one thought: He is not supposed to be here.
With all the experiences a twelve year old can have after following (read: stalking) dangerous vigilantes on rooftops with no outside help or training, he decides to fall back on what he knows and what he’s comfortable with: running the fuck away.

Summary
Hypothesis: A person’s happiness is directly proportional to how close in proximity Tim is to them at any given moment
Observation: Tim’s the problem, and he always will be.
Conclusion: in situations in which is presence is allowed but not necessary, Tim shouldn’t stick around
or
Tim’s always measured his life in statistics, and he knows he isn’t significant to anyone, like the numbers in the product of an equation that get rounded out
