When her initial talk with him doesn’t go as planned, she decides to act like everything is normal, and so does he.
When he starts being nicer than usual to her, resulting in an exhausting back and forth attitude, she puts distance between them until he can figure out his feelings. He ignores them, as Jax does.

Summary
Pomni, despite everything, has settled into a routine amidst the constant daily cacophony and chaos of the digital circus, one she desperately keeps to preserve that fragile, ever-doubtful shred of humanity that still manages to exist within her. She tries to, anyway, even if certain bunny-eared castmates were seemingly determined to do everything in their power to disturb said routine, and make her wonder whether the urge to fight to keep something genuine alive in a fake, plastic world is really worth it after all.
When Caine's newest adventure sends the troupe on a ski resort day trip, she may finally have the opportunity to get some of the answers she's been waiting for. Whether they'll be exactly what she's been hoping for, however, is another question entirely.
Or, the one where Jax and Pomni have another fight, get stuck on a ski lift, and things pretty much spiral from there.

“I can give you a ride.”
Pomni blinks at him for a few moments before recoiling, “Fuck that!”
“Listen. I could give you a ride, or you could stay here. Your choice,” he says, raising an eyebrow at her.
She crosses her arms over her chest, “I’ll walk.”
“Oh, please. You can’t even stand up, short stack,” He scoffs.
Forcing her legs to cooperate, Pomni rises to her feet and the guy rises with her, turning away as she rises before looking down at her, “Don’t push yourself, kid.”
“Fuck you, ’m not a kid,” Pomni says, shoving him and nearly missing him entirely.
She's too drunk for this. Or too sober, she can't tell.
OR
Pomni is in college, and after doing a semester online she decides to go in person in stead and meets a bunch of friends there. After she has too much to drink and to smoke at a party she gets a ride home from a guy who turns out to be a little bit of an asshole, but thers more to him. She can tell.
She also accidentally stole his jacket and needs to locate him to return it. Oh well, she'll just wear it everyday until she can find him.

For some reason that Zooble didnt care to know, Jax was suddently so nice and friendly with them. Cracking jokes and actually interacting... normally.
They knew it was an trick of some kind, but the way he acted was a lot better. It was fun seeing him actually make harmless pranks and not being the only one laughing.
And Jax thought it was fun seeing Zooble laugh from it, and liked their funny banter.
And it evolved naturally from there, and neither of them noticed it. Until it was too late

Whipping her head around she makes eye contact with Jax. Fucking. Jax. A big smirk is plastered on his face, eyes soaring over Pomni’s form and his smirk gets bigger. He’s leaned up against the wall on his left shoulder, a drink in his other hand as he sips it. Pomni who was still holding her drink in hand slows her moves. Her hands lift the cup up to her lips watching attentively how Jax responds.
Jax’s pupils dilate; he looks… hungry. Pomni holds eye contact still swaying to some melody, but the beat from her heartbeat in her ears sucks her out of it.
Jax takes another sip and she’s following his move. The tiniest little sip from her cup batting her eyes at him.

Disturbingly calm, she turns over her shoulder. She presses the barrel to the space between her eyes, and pulls the trigger.
The circus, and everything in it, goes dark.

Summary
They all made it out of the circus. For some of them, they are back to their original lives for the first time in years. They all wake up the same way, taking off a headset in an abandoned C&A building. But they all didn't wake up at the same building...
Pomni (Now Kellie) and Jax (Now Zac) find each other through Pomni's old YouTube page. The two start communicating, not knowing what happened to the others. Caine had messed with their memories so much, it took them a while to remember things they used to remember about their lives even in the circus.
They bond over their shared time at the circus and start to wonder what led them to the circus anyway? How did it work? And why them?They learn that there might only be one way to get rid of the circus altogether. In order to delete the system, they each will have to face their worst fears and worst memories.
How bad could it possibly be?

After the Awards Show, things in the circus feel different. Zooble, usually just an observer, find themself drawn into the breakdown of the one person they like least in the digital circus: Jax. Being forced together in one of Caine’s escape room adventures becomes the unexpected catalyst for a new, complicated connection between them.
