Tim didn't usually seek people out after a nightmare. Tonight, though, the only thing that would even begin to calm him down was verifying that Dick was still alive.
OR: Tim had a nightmare that Jason stabbed Dick in the chest, not the gut. He delayed waking Dick up, instead trying to calm himself down by watching Dick sleep.

"Seriously," Kaveh muttered to himself, "Are you truly getting so lazy now that you can't even be bothered to sleep in your own room?"
Al-Haitham didn't stir. Kaveh huffed.
He picked up the book with the intention of fetching a bookmark to place between the pages. Al-Haitham had a habit of leaving those around the place too. Just as he was mentally scolding his junior for not taking better care of his possessions, a certain line caught his eye:

“Has the General been here?”
Sushang frowns, looking up at Yanqing from her position beside the bedrest. “He won’t be here just because I'm hurt.”
“No, he will,” Yanqing insists. “He cares about the Cloud Knights. He is always there whenever I'm hurt.”
Sushang lets out a sigh before her mouth forms a smile—one that Yanqing realizes is a mocking smile. “Do you know how many other Cloud Knights get hurt every day? Thousands.” Sushang says, staring at Yanqing with a deadpan expression. “He doesn’t care about any Cloud Knight, he just cares about you.”
“Because I am a Cloud Knight—”
“No, because you are his son.”
Yanqing flushes. Then, just as pink started to spread across his cheeks, his frown deepened. “I-I’m not!”
