Summary
Instead of waiting for dinner, Will packs a bag, leaves a note for Alana, and shows up at Hannibal’s house the morning before the events of Mizumono with a pair of plane tickets. But leaving with Will isn’t the same as forgiving him, and turns out, Hannibal might need a sacrifice after all.

Summary
“I know Francis was the dragon,” Will said, face turned into the fine fabric of Hannibal’s dress shirt. “But sometimes, here with you, living this life, I feel like I’ve accidentally run away with one.”
"Left the maiden in distress behind and took the dragon for yourself, then?"
Or, Hannibal and Will run away to Europe. Things go more or less as expected.

Summary
It’s all pretense at this point - Hannibal’s wine glass raised to his lips in a slow, deliberate swallow, the line of his throat moving with unhurried precision. He lowers the glass, thumb dragging idly along the stem, and says, “The longer you wait, the more I’ll suspect you’re afraid to look too closely.”
“I feel like we passed that point a while back,” Will huffs something that could almost pass for a laugh. “Maybe I’m just deciding where to start.”
“Anywhere you like,” Hannibal says, and it sounds like a promise. Or a threat. Possibly both.
