When vampire Lucifer notices Father Alastor – a priest he knows moonlights as a vampire hunter – getting a little too close to his daughter, he decides to step in. Then he realizes playing with this priest is a lot of fun.

easily one of if not The best fic I've read in my entire 20 years clocking in at the fanfic factory. perfect characterization. hot as helllll for lucifer to have his lil hooves in those big ol' boots dangling off the alter like that. life changing if I'm being honest.

Summary
Alastor is bored. Lucifer is lonely. Together they make a terribly unwise combination. One night of drinking has them considering a ridiculous flight of fancy.
They wouldn't ever be friends, and lovers seemed overly sentimental, but they could be drinking buddies.
A series of oneshots exploring Alastor and Lucifer's relationship progression through drinking, sex, and snark, each one a character study of peculiarities and vulnerabilities centered around the theme of a different beverage.
