The group said their goodbyes to Max as Lando grabbed the blindfold. The last thing he saw before his vision was covered was Charles winking at him. Winking at him before he was going to be left alone for whatever was haunting this place to kill him.

Summary
Looking from the outside, Max and Charles are the perfect pair of mates: they have been rivals in childhood, had their ups and downs until finally starting courting and getting together.
