Summary
"I dom men too," Sid says dubiously, now clearly trying to find a secret offering of equal merit.
Zhenya snorts, endeared against his will by Sid, which happens too often for his liking. He decides not to share that he would sub to men, if it weren't riskier than subbing to women, on the off chance that Sid thinks that he has to come up with another confession in return. "Thanks for telling," he says sincerely instead.
Sid looks up from where he has been staring unfocusedly at the beer he has only had two sips of. "Have you been bratting because you haven't had a scene in too long?"
Being a hockey player has been more important to Zhenya than almost anything else about him - being a man, being Russian, being a sub. He hasn't regretted what he gave up to play in the NHL, but there are days when he's very lonely. Being able to play with Sid helps. It takes a while for them to figure out the rest.

Summary
After the Penguins organization completely fumbles his dynamic needs his rookie year, the front office decides they can't just treat Sidney's omeganess like it will just resolve itself. He's the next best hope for hockey in general and their ticket to revitalize the Penguins organization. They just can't up and abdicate responsibility.
For a young unbonded alpha, it would be simple: they'd just find him a "specialist" to take care of his needs. Surely it can't be that different? Right?

Summary
Jo paces around the kitchen, watched closely by his dog. He’s muttering under his breath every so often, and Mallow seems vaguely interested. Mallow is still laying down, of course, always lazy, but his head is perked up as if curious whether Jo’s mood is one that will lead to a trip to the dog park. Mallow loves the dog park. Jo notices Mallow’s gaze and sighs, shaking his head.
“Not today, buddy,” he says softly. Mallow whines, making Jo even more disappointed in himself - he can’t even make his own dog happy. “The thing is,” he says aloud, sort of directed at Mallow but mostly directed toward himself, “there’s other things in Colorado, you know? Denver is a big city. Well, it’s a city, I don’t think it’s that big. Anyway, there’s more to it than just Nate.”
Mallow cocks his head at Jo. Jo didn’t say the word ‘park’ or anything close to it, which is the only word Mallow really cares about aside from ‘treat’ and ‘walk’.
