    Grace didn't leave anybody behind on Earth, not even a dog, but Rocky, Rocky had a whole family waiting back home on Erid.
    Adrian has been holding the family together, hoping against hope as the years passed by in a blur; long past the time that others gave up expecting the ship and its crew to return with hope and a cure. Finally, a message comes for them from the Great Thurm.
    The ship they sent out isn't returning, something else, something alien is bearing down on their planet. Something that speaks with a voice that no one can identify, but that claims to be Adrian's long-lost mate.
    What does this alien ship hold for Adrian and the family cluster left behind? Hope, or despair? Or perhaps, gut wrenchingly more complex than either...
