Hermione has been sent to Azkaban every Monday by the Ministry to interrogate Antonin Dolohov about the seven Death Eaters still at large. Though she has gotten to know the roguish Russian, she has gotten none of the answers she needs. When her boss, Harry Potter, tells her he is taking her off the case due to a lack of results, she has only one more chance to acquire the info the Ministry desperately desires. But when Antonin offers her a shocking, salacious deal for the intel, the lines between what she is doing for her job and what she is doing for herself start to become a little blurry – and there might be more to his intentions than she initially assumes.

Bella’s reaction was not what he had envisioned. Instead of fear, there was a slow feeling of anticipation running through her. She was not cowering. Not facing away from the fearsome vampire they both knew he was. With a ragged breath, she muttered
“Well, Major Twinkle Star, for your next formidable display of authority, you might want to do it somewhere outside of the sun. The glittering diminishes the mystique quite a bit.”
The lines on her face were harsh. She was egging him on, using him as an outlet for all her built-up frustration. It seemed that his body did not care one bit. He slowly lowered his mouth along her jaw. Hovering less than an inch above her skin, as his cold breath trailed a path toward the nape of her neck.
