Ogata had just wanted to buy a present for his brother's birthday, he definitely had not signed up for forcefully remembering that he had lived before and that the old version of him had been an even more unlovable asshole than he was now.
Current Ogata at least had two people who cared about him, even if one of them would kill him if he remembered as well.
And maybe that would be quite right.
