Rei was going to the Suwa estate to confront his father. Rei had felt a lot of fear for his father in his life. Yet right now, fear was the last thing on his mind. No amount of fear could overshadow the rage he felt in this moment. He played right into the hands of his father, and maybe he would have taken it obediently like he had all his life, just like how his father expected him to; but now he had something to lose–no, he’d lost it already– and Rei intended to get it back. Get her back, for both their sakes, no matter what it took.

Summary
If somebody asked Ruby if she was infatuated with her partner, she would deny it. To be honest, infatuated wouldn’t be the right word for it.
Ruby didn’t have a way with words, but if you asked her how she felt about her tiny companion, she would describe it as warmth… literally. Whenever she was around her, she would feel herself heat up inexplicably.
Strangely enough, Ruby started noticing the little things Aquamarine did.There’s something brand new that Ruby has noticed about Aquamarine that she didn't before: Often when Aquamarine makes a mistake, she rushes to fix it quickly.

Summary
Aquamarine shielded her eyes from the sun as she peered around the island. Golden sand bordered the very edge of the island, the ocean looming just past it.
But it wasn’t the salty ocean or the beaming sand that caught her attention. Rather, something large and red floating in the ocean.
“Ruby! You may want to see this!” She flew back down, stopping Ruby in her tracks, who was already off to explore another part of the forest.
As if routine by now, Aquamarine scooped the vermillion gem into her arms and flew back into the sky. Ruby squinted, trying to see what Aquamarine so desperately wanted her to look at. As they flew closer, Ruby nearly fell out of the little one’s arms in surprise.
OR: Aquamarine realizes Ruby's upset and tries to make it right.

It was a moment that seemed to last forever. They were so close that Luke could feel a shaky exhale from Nick on his upper lip, and vice versa. He wanted… he wasn't sure what exactly he wanted, but so far all signs pointed towards his best friend inching closer.
But with a sharp inhale, Luke rested his head on the hay below it, creating distance between the two. Nick accepted it, leaning away with an unreadable expression. If Luke knew any better, he'd say it was somewhat of a disappointed expression.He's drunk. They're both just really drunk. That's all that was.

Rei hesitated in the doorway.
Kazuki blinked. “Everything okay?”
Rei’s fingers curled into his palm. “I… can’t sleep.”
Kazuki nodded, understanding immediately. “You want the couch? I’ll—”
“No,” Rei said, sharper than he meant. Then softer: “I want to stay. Here. If that’s okay.”
“Uh, sure”. Kazuki began to move, legs swinging off the bed. “I’ll go sleep on the couch—”
“No.” Rei stepped forward. His voice was hoarse. “I— I meant with you.”
Kazuki froze mid-motion. Silence stretched between them for what seemed like an eternity.
“…huh?”
Rei and Kazuki left the organization for good. And Rei should be able to sleep in his own bed. He should be able to sleep like everyone else, like a normal human being.
But he can't.
Kazuki graciously lends his own bed (and his body heat on cold winter nights).
