"Ooh, this is fascinating." Wei Wuxian lifts his hand and—Heavens help him—Lan Wangji's hand follows. Because they're stuck. They're stuck. Their fingers are interlaced, and they can't pull them apart. "You know, I wasn't expecting this, but isn't it odd? It's obviously a curse, but so far, it's not harmful."
Oh, it is harmful, Lan Wangji thinks through a spinning head as he feels Wei Wuxian twist their hands this way and that, testing the limits of the curse. It is most certainly harmful.

(tl;dr a curse makes teen!wwx and teen!lwj hold hands. lwj, who is very much in denial about his feelings, tries his best not to panic and wwx decides that Operation: Make Lan Zhan My Best Friend is a GO. hilarity ensues)

Lan Wangji, the principal cellist in his orchestra, finds himself performing JS Bach’s Art of Fugue with a student string quartet one semester and falls in love with the ways his life intersects with that of the lead violinist.
Wei Wuxian, a composition major, finds himself echoing that sentiment, and the story takes on some of the complexity and fascination of the music they are learning.

After thirteen years in the Burial Mounds, the Yiling Patriarch finally makes a public reappearance. Civilians are scared. Cultivators are outraged. Sect Leaders are concerned. Wei Wuxian has been too quiet, they say, and nobody knows what dark horrors the Burial Mounds may now contain.
Wei Wuxian wouldn't quite call them dark horrors, but the description wasn't too far off.
(tl;dr Wei Wuxian lives, raises a whole gaggle of demonic cultivator children, and the cultivation world panics.)

(They did that kind of thing often, lately. Careful lists—with bullet points and everything—of what the seniors were up to when Koga and Adonis weren’t working with them. There were a lot of jobs like that, the ones that split them up. Koga was grateful that Kaoru most likely badgered Rei into sharing their schedule after the fiasco that preceded the Nightless City Live.
Even then, a part of her remained anxious. Did Rei always sound quite this formal with them?)
Koga broods, Rei deflects, and Kaoru meddles.

Summary
“Did you know that playing music for plants brings them great happiness?” Sakuma-senpai muses out of nowhere as he continues to strum his acoustic guitar, and the blissful expression that Koga wasn’t even aware had overtaken his face disappears.
“…Plants aren’t sentient, stupid,” Koga snaps with a roll of his eyes, which quickly lock onto the bizarre sight of senpai getting to his feet, walking straight up to a budding head of cabbage peeking up through the fertilizer, and smiling down at it as he crouches to get on its level. He never stops plucking the serene melody from his guitar strings and, as expected, the plant does absolutely fucking nothing.
“On the contrary, my dear Koga, plants have been proven to exhibit a much higher growth when exposed to the delightful sounds of music,” Sakuma-senpai hums, looking beyond pleased with himself as he serenades a vegetable, and Koga is torn between his desire to be that particular head of cabbage and the contrary desire to scream some sense into this idiotic man.
