After thirty compresions, he leans down, pressing their mouths together in a desperate attempt to push air into Will’s lungs. He pinches Will’s nose, almost forgetting as he feels Will’s lips on his. He separates their mouth, searching Will’s face desperately for any signs of life. Nothing.

Vampires weren’t real. They were nothing more than a foolish myth - stories people told themselves to make sense of the truth they were too afraid to face: that some humans were simply monsters.
And yet… the long, pale fangs pressing into Sherlock’s lower lip told an entirely different story.
