Summary
Scaramouche finds himself enamoured and fulfilled over a man named Aether, who upheld perfection in his eyes ever since the man saved him when he was about to end his life. Thus, he developed an idealized obsession with him, quietly watching him from afar and getting rid of enemies along the way. He has pined over Aether for four years, now a senior in university. Surely, he was close to his goals?
Yet as he continued his pursuits of love, a mysterious photographer keeps putting photos of random scenery on his doorstep. He ignored it at first, finding it harmless, until he finds a polaroid photo containing one of his crimes the previous night. The photographer who had been leaving picturesque sights on his doorstep knew of his crimes.
He can’t afford to get caught, so Scaramouche hunts them down in hopes of finding out why they were actively taunting him, and to hopefully kill them.
It is only when Scaramouche receives a second photograph and letter does he realize that the person was not out to expose him, but rather, stalk him.
