The nightmares have gotten more frequent.
This is something Lohen has dealt with for almost his entire life after the incident. They became manageable as he got older but sometimes he couldn’t help but fall back into that spiral again.
Something has been in the air ever since he got to Nod-Krai. He chalked it up to being the influence of the Wild Hunt and the Rächer of Solnari.

What happens when intimacy is turned into a spectacle?

Varka trips a little. “What was that?”
Lohen responds by sinking further into Varka’s chest, enveloped by his heartbeat and expanding-retracting lungs. “They’re, just… loud. And needy.”
Varka snorts. “I’d have thought that would give you some common ground with ‘em.”
Lohen wants to pinch him, but his arm won’t move.
“And maybe you’ve got that much in common with Mondstadt, too,” says Varka, “because we need you. So you have to survive this, alright?”
Lohen doesn’t actually want to die, he just really, really, really wants his subordinates to live. Sometimes that means standing between them and a heaving, snarling beast and letting it do its thing.

Summary
The knights of Favonius are in an expedition in nod-krai as an aftermath with Rerin's fight. As in consequence, Lohen goes too but he is definitely a menace in there and doesn't follow the rules his grand master gave him.
So he went to kill wild hunt without the lightkeepers knowing he was there to help, the voices don't help and sent him almost berserk. A certain captain finds him, pins him in the ground and argue with him as some other ratniki were there with the alpha. They think he is a beta because he was wearing scent blockers.
Without realizing, Lohen falls in love with this type of behavior from a certain captain, Illuga.
