“Don't worry, I’d never. I need all the tips I can get.” She jabs her thumb towards the case of merchandise on the wall. “Free slice of pie with the purchase of a T-shirt, though.”
“Okay.” It was a joke, but Peggy asks for a t-shirt in XL—Jesus Christ—so Angie has to serve her a pie, which means Peggy is staying to eat it instead of leaving immediately, which means Angie can listen to the melodic, British voice of America a little longer.

“We’re headed east to New York City this evening. Our estimated time enroute is five hours and forty-seven minutes. We’re expecting some moderate turbulence enroute, but we’ll attempt to climb up for some cleaner air.”
No, Angie heard it right—the pilot is a woman. The thing is, Angie has seen very few female pilots in her life, and even fewer have sounded so sexy.
