Louis hummed pleasantly with content. This all felt so good. The feeling of Daniel sliding in and out of him, Daniel’s chest pressed up against his, them kissing each other lazily yet hungrily, his hand in Daniel’s hair, the feeling of Daniel’s body weight pressed down on top of him, giving him the feeling of security and comfort. “You don’t have a choice, darling,” Armand coos, voice laced with sympathy as he leans in to wipe Louis’ terrified tears. “He’s ready, which means that you have to be ready."
Louis mistakes active labor for Braxton-Hicks and a low pain tolerance, leading to a less-than-ideal delivery of his and Armand's son. Technically set in TDWP universe, but definitely not required reading.
