Summary
When the grey ship carrying Legolas and Gimli is wrecked in a storm, they wake on an island with no name, no stars they recognise, no road they can find, no indication that the world they were sailing toward exists at all.
Legolas was certain about the destination. Gimli was certain about what he could endure. They were both wrong.
For everyone who has ever looked for a friend and found them standing in exactly the right place.

Summary
Elven grace was never really about being nice. It was about being seen exactly as much, and exactly as beautifully, as the moment required — and no more.
Legolas has many faces: the one he was born with, and the ones everyone else are permitted to see. A hobbit catches a glimpse he's not sure he believes. A frightened man is soothed by something he'll never be able to name. A friend recalculates a year of easy admiration into something colder. And once — for one dwarf — the mask simply doesn't come back up.
Not every reveal is a gift, and not every witness gets to keep what they saw. But some do.

Summary
“I was sent on this journey to protect all of you.” Even as close as they were, Pippin could barely hear the elf. “I failed.”
Legolas’ hand slipped out of his and found the bandages at his wrists, touching them with the tips of his fingers. “All of my training, all of the centuries I have spent fighting until my fingers split open and my palms became raw… it was all for nothing when it counted most.”
“But–”
“Please, Pippin. I do not wish to talk any more.”
“Alright.” Pippin swallowed back the guilt rising in his throat. Pulling his wrist away from Legolas’ hand, he took it in his own once more, pressing it to his chest.
“So you can feel I’m still here, even when you sleep,” he explained quietly.
(Legolas and Pippin have been rescued by the Fellowship. As they continue their quest towards Mordor, they find that not every wound can be fixed with just medicine, and that more terrible ones may be forming just below the surface.)
(Sequel to Fool of a Took so unless you like being confused you should probably take a gander at that one first.)
