“Hear the news?” Tig asked where he leaned against the chain link fence. He had a habit of going on the prowl, slinking around and listening in on conversations, or joining them if he felt like it. Tig handed off the cigarette to Chibs, fingers brushing the other man’s intentionally.
“Besides, how fucking hot it is out here?” Jax drawled and wiped sweat from his brow with a frown.
Chibs huffed in dry amusement and took a drag off the cig before passing it on to Jax, “Tell us, Tiggy.”
Tig hums, pleased at the acknowledgment, “We’re gettin’ a new nurse. The old bag we had finally retired.”
Jax cocks a brow. Now that was news. Any fresh meat inside prison walls was a new opportunity. He shifts his weight, leaning one arm against the fence beside Tig, “Yeah? Probably another old throwaway from the hospital. They give us the ugly ones on purpose.”
The other two snickered at the crass joke, but Tig shook his head, lips curling into that familiar smirk that looked a little crazy at the corners, “Nah, man. This one’s supposed to be fine.”
Jax scoffed and rolled his eyes at his club brother, “If it’s your type of fine, then I might as well brace for disappointment.”

“You know we aren’t good men,” He begins, and you nod even though it wasn’t a question. Jax licks his lips, looking appeased when you do so, “We aren’t nice men, sweetheart. This isn’t a happy hold hands and go watch a movie relationship.”
You nod along then. You’d understood that the night Louise had dragged you to the clubhouse.
“Good,” Jax intones softly, “Because we don’t want to scare you, baby, but sometimes we have to do scary things. You understand that?”
You swallow hard at that. You weren’t ignorant about SAMCRO. You’ve lived in Charming your entire life after all. But you also knew that while they were dangerous, no one in the club ever went out of their way to hurt anyone in the town they lived in. That would be an insult to what they stood for.
“Yeah,” You say and meet his eyes, steeling yourself at the intensity you see there, “I understand.”

This is Debaser but with trans Billy. I personally consider this the true version.
Sometimes I just want to read stuff with people who have my anatomy and sometimes dysphoria kicks my ass, so I wanted to make a version of this for either occasion. Gonna do my best to update both at the same time moving forward.
Before, they were only as close as Billy let anyone get, but lately the distance between them has been shrinking. He’s not the kind of guy who likes to talk about himself. Mostly he listens, prods, collects, but never offers. He learned young that when you’ve got a brain like he does you can’t afford to tell people what you’re thinking or how you really feel. Stu isn’t one of those people though, Stu has to keep his thoughts secret too and now this is theirs to keep, between them.
