“Dibs on the hot blonde tattoo artist,” he declares when Lexa shows up for her shift, half an hour after Clarke’s left.
Lexa scowls at him, which doesn’t seem totally fair. She hasn’t even seen Clarke yet, so it’s not like she knows what she’s missing. “You prefer men and women,” she says. “I only prefer women. Which means that, statistically speaking, you are far likelier to meet prospective partners. If you were a true friend, you would at least leave the women for me.”
Bellamy grins. “No, if I were a true friend, I’d put up a fight. I know how much you like competitions. You got kicked out of soccer for playing against everyone, including your own team.”
“It wasn’t my fault they were horrible,” Lexa sniffs.
“It was middle school,” Bellamy points out. “They were twelve.”

He shrugs, tries to bite back the smirk pulling at his mouth, “Whatever you say, your worship.”

Summary
The Wizard Belldragon was supposedly an immortal, beautiful man, who lived in a moving castle made of charcoal, and wooed young maids to steal their souls. Or eat their hearts, depending on who was telling the story. But each version maintains he’s ageless, gorgeous, and incredibly powerful.
Clarke thinks most of the rumors are probably untrue, or at least unfounded. She finds it hard to believe the King would let a heart-eating Wizard hunker down in the heart of Arcadia. Then again, Jaha is incredibly distracted at the moment, so perhaps.
Still, even she knows that if there’s anyone likely to break the curse on her, it’s a Wizard, and the fact that she’s currently at one’s backdoor seems a little too convenient to ignore.

“Fine,” she deadpanned. “Just a dick, then.” If he smiled down at his pile of dirty socks, she didn’t notice.
“I’m sort of a dick,” he relented.In which Clarke comes to University to find herself, Raven comes to build evil robots, Monty and Jas mostly come for the weed, and Bellamy just wants to wash his clothes and reread The Iliad in peace.
