Years finally passed after coming back to Erid, Grace is healthy and happy, no more being sick.
And Rocky is back with his mate Adrian, everything’s nice and dandy! Well… Kind of, Rocky’s perpetually stressed with everything (being the acting leader of the largest city, being part of a group of elder eridians who are also leaders of other cities, making sure Grace’s bio-dome is working properly, and a shit ton more that Rocky can’t even count on all his claws. It’s so goddamn stressful).
Then of course it comes to a head when the news about Earth and their now fixed Sun and the threat of Grace going home made it worse (because he hasn’t had the chance to admit his feelings yet)… Rocky’s never been more stressed than ever.
And suddenly… Rocky turns into a human.
Tl;dr: #LetRockyRest + Protective Grace & Adrian when they realize someone from Rocky's past is trying to come back to hurt him

Summary
This is a Rocky-and-Grace-fake-date-to-make-Adrian-jealous story no one was asking for that I promptly delivered.
Rocky and Grace are finally on Erid, but Rocky's marriage is, well, on the rocks, and that's putting it nicely.
How will I know if he really loves me?
The answer to that question is rarely "fake date to get on his nerves and see what happens". And if you're asking yourself this question concerning your best friend, "fake date and see what happens" is probably not the best option, either.
Ryland Grace seems to think otherwise.
He has the best intentions. He'll save his best friend's marriage. The only tiny problem is that he's not very good at being in touch with his feelings.
What could possibly go wrong?
