It is just before the First Year Commemoration and Harry and Hermione wonder if they could be of help to the werewolf. They spontaneously decide to offer their help to the werewolf. After all, Harry is Teddy's godfather. But why is the werewolf not to be found in his quarters?

“Really?” Severus taunted. “You’re using that?”
Remus inclined his head. “Dumbledore suggested it, actually. You don’t approve, Severus?”
Severus didn’t answer. He held out the jar with the toad instead.
“Why on earth are you giving me this?” Remus questioned evenly, hands still buried in his pockets.
“It belongs to Longbottom,” he said bitterly. “He brought it to my class.”
Remus dipped his head, examining the poor creature. “And that bothered you?”
“It lunged at me.”
Remus’ head shot up, amusement radiant on his face. “You were attacked by a toad?”Severus Snape is someone who has mastered the art of endurance. With Sirius Black running loose and danger tightening its grip, Severus watched from shadows. Feared, respected, and sharp-tongued, he carries the weight of vigilance like a second skin, standing between his students and a world that seems determined to destroy them.
But the past refuses to stay buried. Remus Lupin’s return to Hogwarts reopens old wounds, leaving space for things left unsaid. What once existed between Severus and Remus lingers – aching, unresolved, and dangerous – and this year may finally force the truth to light, no matter the cost.

Severus thinks there’s a vicious, poetic sort of irony in the fact that he ends up alone in a Muggle bar on his twenty-sixth birthday. All he wants to do is get trashed. Black out, knock down drunk, so that he can try to bleach some of the memories he can’t seem to forget from his brain.
Remus Lupin fits in there somewhere.

Summary
Severus Snape was a pragmatist. He did not believe in life after death and second chances.
Unfortunately, no one asked him.
After dying from Nagini's bite during the Battle of Hogwarts, Severus awakens in his fifteen-year-old body moments after the infamous werewolf incident in the Shrieking Shack. Armed with decades of knowledge and an unhealthy amount of bitterness, he decides to change the future.
Severus Snape's plan was simple enough:
1. Patent the Wolfsbane Potion and other potions that were not invented in 1975.
2. Find the Dark Lord's Horcruxes and destroy them.
3. Keep Lily as far away from James Potter as humanly possible.Severus still didn't understand how werewolf taming had gotten into this list...

“He exits the shower and they just stare into each other's eyes. Chris looked into Leon's like he was searching for an answer. Like there was something his brain was trying to remember about that night at the bar. Leon looked so familiar right now to him, the soft and gentle skin. The hickies littering his neck and shoulders. His heart starts racing but it feels like a piece of the puzzle is missing.
“Do you want an autograph, or should I just sign your forehead?” Chris snaps out of it. Moving to the side. The room faded into a dull blur, but every tiny detail about Leon remained in razor-sharp focus—the slow way he tucked combed his hair back and the smell of whiskey and leather that followed him. “What happened at the bar?...” He asks again.
