Jungkook was an escort, had been for years. He would go out with anyone who seemed nice enough and paid accordingly. He expressed his sympathy for them, because Jungkook was there to make them feel seen, regardless of what he himself thought about it. Because in front of them he wasn’t Jungkook; he was Ian. He was Ian the escort, and as Ian he had no opinion of his own; he had patience and understanding. He was a shell of himself to appeal and preserve his own safety and sanity.
