Peter hauled himself up, groaning in pain. He mentally evaluated himself, testing his range of motion as he stood. he had crash-landed in an alley way, his arm was aching but not fractured, and his leg had a nasty gash that was bleeding through his suits fabric, noticeable even through the red patches.
As he gained more of his bearings, the sounds of the city flooded in and he winced, holding his hands over his ears. There was a robbery taking place in an apartment complex nearby from the sound of all the people he could hear pleading for their lives. He rolled his shoulders back, straightening out and fully and starting forward towards where the alley met the streets.
Helping people. He could start there.

Jayce is good at a lot of things. He's talented in the forge, at metallurgy, particularly skilled in thermodynamics and closed-systems problems. He's considerate and motivated. He makes a mean cup of coffee and sweetmilk. In many ways, he's the ideal co-worker and friend.
But Jayce is very bad at taking care of himself.
This quickly becomes Viktor's problem.
Or: a dom/subverse fic in which Jayce is a particularly sensitive submissive that has struggled to find a partner due to his large stature and demeanor. Viktor offers to help him self-regulate. Chaos and miscommunication ensues.
